The menu is competitively priced and the atmosphere is one of a kind. The dim lights make for an intimate dining experience.
Flo’s Chinese Restaurant was founded by Florence Chen in 1997. Flo was born in Hong Kong and moved to the United States in order to attend Memphis State University. She married Eddie Chan who owned his own Chinese Restaurants in the East Valley. With him she learned about various Chinese Cuisines and the importance of having a keen business sense.
After divorcing Eddie Chan, Florence Chan met business partner and future husband Dennis Wallace. The couple opened Flo’s Chinese Restaurant in 1997. Following the success of Flo’s Chinese Restaurant, they opened Flo’s Chinese Market, Flo’s Hong Kong Food Market, Flo’s Asian Kitchen, and Flo’s Shanghai Café. Even though Flo’s has branched out, each restaurant is still owned and managed by Florence Chan.
Make sure next time you are in the area to stop by Flo’s Chinese Restaurant and try her lettuce wraps or spicy mandarin peanut chicken. While your there ask for Flo and maybe you will have the opportunity to meet the brains behind this mouth-watering contemporary Chinese cuisine.
